Amelia King
I grew up showing AQHA, APHA all around in Washington State as well as 4-H shows. I currently have my AQHA Level 1 Card, POAC Card and Colorado 4-H Card and help coach the Colorado State University Horse Judging Team. I have my Masters in Animal Sciences specifically in Equine exercise physiology where I also coached the Sam Houston State Reserve Limited World Champion Horse Judging Team and have been judging horse shows for 10 years. I love judging open horse shows and I enjoy the atmosphere of an enriching experience for both horse and rider. It is important for riders to be able to improve their skills while still feeling comfortable enough to ask questions, expose their horse to a safe show and also be able to gain connections throughout the industry.
